Complete lyrics of song 1st Awakening

Searched for your love from season to season.
In full belief that I knew the reason.
Most girls I've met said hardly a word, insincerity is the voice I heard.
Some have asked my to go to bed, and just showed they had an empty head,
But then I caught a glimpse of you, the course was clear to make it come true.

But will our love pass the test of time ?
With you could hardly feel the wine.
Your words more than just a line.
Sure feels good now your mine.

Understanding you is easy now that I'm free of the fears that now inspire.
The essence of you is an ecstacy fullfilling my dreams and desires.
I can't believe the changes you've made, look at the things you've done.
Putting it all together for me, two sides meeting as one.

Marriage is more than a legal bond, a journey for two friends to set upon.
In my arms you're so full of love, always the girl I've been dreaming of.
In the event we grow apart, it won't be the end just another start.
Waiting for you as long as I can, even though I'm a healty man.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

I guess everyone had a 1st love once............

Hello Rose,
Yes I wrote that in back in 1982 . I had all these emotions running around my head after a breakup with my 1st girlfriend. I had just started writing songs about that time. You can hear them in my song "Cardiac Arrest" on the MP3 link. The name was changed to 1st awakening because I entered the lyrics (shortened form) in a poetry contest. They were published but I never got the book. I played all the parts except drums. There are two guitars plating very different parts, a bass, two vocal parts. I actually built the guitar amplifier used in the song by myself. This actually was my 3rd song recorded. I had a small studio in my bedroom while living at "home" with "Mom".

I will post more lyrics as I find them soon. I lost a few original song CDs in my vast collection but will find and post.

Take care,
Tim
