PUTW flamenco pickups.

I have been searching for years for a decent acoustic guitar pickup that meets the needs of the flamenco player. Finally I stumbled into Pick-up-the-world model #40 pickups. They are ultra thin twin strips that go inside the guitar under the bridge. The sound is amazing. You can get the golpes and rumba slaps that before you needed a microphone to pick up. Very evenly balanced and very clear tones with no harshness and trebly sounds.

I am running the guitar into an Roland AC-60 stereo acoustic amplifier. It has reverb, echo and chorus effects built right in. Very lighweight adn compact but packs a big tone. Not boomy or trebly just smooth sound like you hear in your living room with an amp.

Together, these will make my playing much more enjoyable.

After a long layoff I will be playing more flamenco.

I was ill for quite a while and really wasn't able to play much guitar. Things are returning to normal and I want to get back into the flamenco style of guitar. Electric guitar is much easier on my hands and I do enjoy it but still want to play flamenco.

I look forward to putting up some flamenco music shortly and some instruction videos.

Peace,
TJ

Putting up videos soon.

Hi all, I was able to get a video camera finally and will be making videos soon. Some will be instructional videos for guitar, and some will be videos of me recording music in the studio. Looking forward to you input.

As far as the recording studio videos, they will be mainly to show how I go about making my music. Recording techniques and miking techniques will be shown.

Be well,
TJ

Quite a few new songs

I am posting these for your enjoyment. These are all just rough mixes of incomplete songs. I will finish them shortly with new recordings and better mix, I just didn't want to lose the ideas before they got on tape. Well the hard drive actually but you know what I mean. These are mainly rock tunes BTW with one techno ;)
